The Scientific Council is chairing by UNESCO and is composed of the official
representatives of the Universities members of the Avicenna network. It is
responsable for the political and scientifical tendancies of this Avicenna virtual
campus of distance training in higher education. Its formal approval is compulsory
to get the agreement for producing, adapting and reviewing the Avicenna lectures
into the Avicenna Quality Assurance System (AQUAS).
